Building a website should be plan wisely. From the beginning until the end, you must do a thorough planning. The first thing you need to do is choosing your domain name. Name determines your web presence. Without a proper name, or maybe misleading name, your website will be just another web in the Internet. Nothing special about it. Great and proper name will goes a long way. Website name such as facebook, yahoo and Google are few of the greatest website names in the world. They are simple name, but it is easy to understand and memorized.

1. Short name is better than longer one
2. If you want to combine two words together, make it easy to pronounced and remembered
3. Your website name should be easy to spell. Do not use words such as prequirsting or equilargiey
4. If you have the budget, use the .com or . net extension. If you have a strict budget, .info is still okay.
5. List down relevant keywords and corporate them into domain name.

I like to search micro and macro blogging platform. After finding a unique one, I will play around and try to understand it. This is where I find tumblr.com After a short look out, I have found out that this website is like Twitter, but with more features. You can post image, text, video and many more. This feature is really helpful for every blogger. Instead of that, it also linked with Twitter.  So, whenever you tweet something, that tweet will also came out in the Tumblr dashboard. Great, isn’t it.

Th company is being  founded by David Karp . From 2007 to 2010,  this website had improve tremendously. It is estimated that every day, they were about 2,000,000 posts being posted by Tumblr people. It also estimated about 15,000 new users sign up every day. Awesome statistic right.

In blogger point of view, social bookmarking could also help them to increase your backlinks.  The expert said, one high quality page rank is worth more than 100 low page rank. In fact, tumblr had a page rank of  8 .Do your research nicely. Do share your preferred social bookmarking site.

I am bored

Everyone had  a day  when they feel really bored and feeling really frustrated. Then , mental block come in. Some of us, went to coffee shop to ease the tension. Some went on for a shopping spree. Others eat a lot of nuts. There are many way people respond to stress. Stress if was treated nicely could somehow boost your productivity. But if you try to avoid it, and sort of repel it, it would have a really negative impact. It could create havoc. Your day, would be a total failure.

What stress had to do with blogging? What I want to share with you today is how can you maneuver stress and do something that is useful in your bored hour. There are a lot of thing that you can do, when you are feeling very bored in writing a post. It is actually up to you, but here are something that you can applied to your daily blogging career:

By reading other people blog, you would have to know that people behind the blog better. You know how is their way of thinking. You can implemented their thinking into your blog.  A lot of people have a lot of different styles in presenting their blog. Some of the features in their blog might appeal you. Then, you can ask them nicely where did they get that  widget / plugin or other that you like from. Remember, to appreciate their blog, before asking them a favor. And you don’t need to read all  blogs in the blogosphere. Just find blog that are in a similar in niche with you. BlogCatalog and Technorati could help you.

Do the act of Commenting

Yeh, commenting , not spam commenting. Visit other blog, and comment. Do not use any negative comments. Try to make a constructive comments. The web master would love to see an encouraging comments. That is human nature. They might also pay a visit to your blog. A win win situation right. It will also create a network between you two. Backlink will follows suits

Sometime, if you feel very lazy and bored, go to youtube. Mesmerized and enlighten yourself with a lot of funny, hilarious video, that are sometime real , sometime pretended to be real. It will surely cheered you up. You tube is the best medicine they said.Haha. Remember to post in your website and do a little bit of explanation of what happen in that video. Sharing goes a long ways.

Post something different

Writing an article need a lot of patient. Writing an article in the same topic would somehow bored you, and probably your reader. Doing a same thing everyday, would create a sort of tiredness. Mental block is imminent. So, why don’t we post something totally different? It will show your reader that you are aware of the things happen around the world. It will also show you reader that you has read a lot of blog that encompass a lot of topic. Reading  various topic of blogs would increase your level of awareness and also your integrity.

Why? Sometime, on being different,we  can produce great result. Life is not only consist of one color. It consist of at least 7 colors. It is the same with blogging. Sometime, talking about something totally different from what your blog is, could create some sort of attraction to your viewer. People are eager to see something different. But do not sue me if you interpret my view of different in a totally wrong understanding and then get caught because doing something stupid along the way.

Let us go back to to our childhood life. We tend to give more attention and emphasis to different thing.  Different do attract  people. Look at Mark Zuckerberg. His different is on how he perceive people and communication. He was an udergradaute in Harvard. His diferences lie in the way he think. Anyone must be familiar with the facebook right. Not the new facbook, but the facebook when you were a high shcool student. It was like a way student communicate and knowing each other. His revolutionary ideas had made facebook, one of the most famous social networking portal in the world. It is worth about 30 billion USD.That are really huge for God sake.

Hope we can all learn something from him. Remember, impossible is just an excuse. You can be what you wish to be. Being different  is the way today.
